Teacher Nguyen Ngoc Ky, who wrote letters with his feet, passed away

On the morning of September 28, Outstanding Writer and Teacher Nguyen Ngoc Ky, a teacher who wrote with his feet, passed away at his home after fighting with kidney failure.

Master Nguyen Ngoc Ky was born on June 28, 1947 in Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province. At the age of 4, the boy Nguyen Ngoc Ky had a serious illness and was paralyzed in both hands. With extraordinary energy, Nguyen Ngoc Ky persevered and worked tirelessly to practice, forging legs instead of hands to write letters.

Thanks to great efforts, Nguyen Ngoc Ky was able to go to school and study very well. In 1962, Nguyen Ngoc Ky was awarded his noble badge by Uncle Ho. In 1963, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky continued to be selected to participate in the national contest to select excellent students in Mathematics and ranked 5th. Boy Ky continued to be awarded the second noble badge by Uncle Ho.

After that, Nguyen Ngoc Ky excellently graduated from Hanoi University of Literature and returned home to work as a teacher. In 1992, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky was awarded the title of “Excellent Teacher”.

In 1994, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky moved from Nam Dinh to Ho Chi Minh City to settle down and work in Go Vap district to both work and treat diseases.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ky’s funeral was held at his home in Phuoc Long B ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City.
